Thank you all for praying for us! We received news about a two and a half year-old boy late Sunday night (May 6) , and Monday evening saw pictures of him! We also were referred a little girl who is only 6 days old!!!! My mom and dad talked and prayed about it a lot, (so did Brandon, David and I) and yesterday morning we told the lady who was helping us that we were accepting both! It will be hard with a newborn and a toddler, but together as a family we will be able to get through the first hard months, and then after everything has settled down, we will really enjoy being a family of seven.
We still need your prayers, though. Please, please, please pray that the little baby girl doesn't get malaria, and that if she does she will be strong enough to fight it off. Many little babies die in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Pray that our little girl will be strong.

Congrats that's so exciting! I am also so a little jealous! We are still finishing paperwork for our adoption, and I want a really little baby brother. My youngest siblings right now are 6, so a 2 1/2 year old + a 6 day old little girl is amazing! I'm so happy! :)
