Bethany Quote 2

Kaden and Bethany were playing with my hair.

They were combing, brushing, and putting clips in.

Kaden worked on placing a hair clip in just the right place,

and when he finally got it there he told Bethany,

"Defany, don't touch this.  Ok, Defany?  Don't touch this!"

Bethany looked at him, then the clip and said

"Let it go!"



Not Forgotten Meeting

Yesterday we attended the Not Forgotten adoption support group meeting.

It was so much fun!

We met a few families for the first time, and were able to catch up with others.

It was so great to see so many beautiful kids with their forever families!

The adults talked, the kids played, and we stayed out until around 9pm! 

 

We had such a good time last night!

It was great getting to be around so many amazing families and hear their stories.

We look forward to doing it again soon!

 

 

 

 

 

 



May 5th and in the Pool!

Today my younger cousin Kailie came for the afternoon.

She and Kaden hit it off over a year earlier when Kailie's family came to meet Bethany and Kaden.

Ever since they've been fast friends!

Today they started out on the trampoline, but kept asking to go in the pool.

The pool was freezing, but they didn't care!

As soon as they were allowed they were in and stayed in most of the afternoon.

Kaden was in and out of the shower to warm up, though!
