Kaden's 4th Birthday

Hi everybody!
I hope you all are having a great week.
We have had some excitement in the Gibarte house recently.
Excitement which involves,
streamers
candles
balloons
presents...
any guesses?
Yes, we had a birthday!  And it wasn't just anybodies birthday, it was Kaden's!
We had a pretty fun day...
we decorated the night before to surprise him when he came down.

Kaden doesn't like cake,
so we decided to make him a special egg and sausage funny face for breakfast.
He liked it.
Yeah, so maybe it's not the typical birthday treat.
That's okay.

He got some really neat presents, one of which was a drinking straw that looked like glasses.
I love this boy!
And we had a pinata, which everyone loved.

It was a great day, and we are blessed to have this wonderful little boy as part of our family.
We love you,
Kaden Louis Gilbarte!

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KADEN! You look to be having a great time celebrating. You always look like you're having a great time!!
Ya know Kaden my sweet boy Finn is from Ethiopia and he doesn't like cake either. He doesn't like any sweets. His favorite food is bacon and sausage so I think he would have loved your birthday breakfast. Good choice!
May God bless you in this coming year. You are His little lamb and He loves you so much! You are a wonderful example of God's grace to the world around you. Blessing sweet boy!

Happy Birthday, Kaden! I found you from Michlyn's blog. We too are an adoptive family. I'm a mom to four bios and three beautiful little ladies from the Philippines who are biological sisters.

I always love reading about other adoptive families!

Blessings!
Deborah
